Assessing Your Eyes
Additionally, the eye exams are a key part to diagnosing eye infections. In the event that you do have an infection, the doctor will prescribe the necessary medication or surgery to fix the problem. For your convenience, our center points you in the direction of the right specialist for the surgery you need to fix the eye infection. If you have a problem with your eyes that lasts longer than 24 hours, be sure to visit our eye doctor immediately.
During the Evaluation
During your eye exam, the doctor looks at the cornea in order to evaluate the retina (back of the eye). This is a key step in the process, as it ensures our eye doctor that your eyes are working properly. Eye exams are typically available starting at age five, and are recommended every year after.
